BRITISH FANS SET FOR ANOTHER EPIC SPEEDWAY GP SEASON WITH DISCOVERY+ AND EUROSPORT

British fans can once again enjoy a full season of FIM Speedway Grand Prix coverage live on discovery+ and Eurosport 2 in 2023.

All 10 rounds of the Speedway GP World Championship will be broadcasted live on Eurosport 2, with the Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup Race Off and Final from Wroclaw live on Eurosport 1.

There will also be free-to-air Speedway GP highlights on Quest after every Speedway GP round, as well as a 45-minute highlights show on Eurosport 1.

Subscribers to discovery+ can view every second of FIM Speedway action live throughout 2023, starting with the season-opening Tehnix FIM Speedway GP of Croatia on April 29.

This will feature all the build-up from the pits and reaction after the chequered flag falls, plus the very best coverage of the racing including pit and on-board cameras, rider reaction times and, coming soon, live speed data.

Laura Manciet, FIM Speedway championships director, is delighted to bring Speedway GP to both discovery+ and Eurosport viewers once again.

She said: “We know British fans were pleased to see Speedway GP return to Eurosport in 2022 and it’s great that the Eurosport channels will broadcast all 10 rounds again this year, along with the closing days of the Monster Energy FIM SWC in Wroclaw, where Great Britain will be going for gold.

“With Dan Bewley winning Speedway GP rounds in Cardiff and Wroclaw last summer; Robert Lambert rising to fifth in the world, and triple world champion Tai Woffinden always in contention, British fans are in for an exciting season of racing on discovery+ and Eurosport.

“Bringing our highlights show to Quest is also a great addition to our coverage as we give as many British fans as possible the chance to enjoy the 2023 FIM Speedway action.”
