LEJONEN SIGN LATVIAN SGP2 STAR GUSTS FOR 2023

Latvian racer Francis Gusts will be part of Lejonen’s stellar squad for 2023.

Gusts has emerged as one of the sport’s most promising young stars and finished second at the opening SGP2 round in Prague in May. He also helped his country to fourth place at SON2 in Vojens – the FIM Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship.

He joins forces with triple world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, Dominik Kubera, Jaroslaw Hampel, Oliver Berntzon, as well as SGP2 champion Mateusz Cierniak and Casper Henriksson.

Gusts is no stranger to the Swedish league, having raced for Masarna this season. He joins on a 1.250 points-per-race average.
