Triple world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik stormed to a 15-point maximum against boyhood club Gorzow to inspire Lublin to a 52-38 PGE Ekstraliga win on Friday.

After winning last Saturday’s KGHM FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Gorzow, Zmarzlik continued his red-hot with five wins from as many rides against the club he represented from 2011 until his emotional departure in 2022.

He was well supported by 10 paid 13 from Lublin teammate Fredrik Lindgren, with Polish star Dominik Kubera scoring seven paid eight on his return from the back injury he suffered in Orlen FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Warsaw Qualifying Practice on May 12.

FIM SGP2 series leader Mateusz Cierniak raced to six points for Lublin, with Speedway GP star Jack Holder adding five paid six.

Slovak star Martin Vaculik collected 14 paid 15 points for Gorzow from six races, while Danish ace Anders Thomsen scored nine paid 10.

In the day’s other meeting, former world No.3 Emil Sayfutdinov racked up a 15-point maximum as Torun triumphed 53-37 at home to Leszno.

The triple FIM Speedway of Nations world champion was backed up by 12 points from Poland’s Patryk Dudek, 11 from GB star Robert Lambert and eight paid nine from former Speedway GP rider Pawel Przedpelski.

Former World Under-21 champion Jaimon Lidsey led the Leszno score chart on 12 points, with Polish duo Janusz Kolodziej and Bartosz Smektala adding 10 paid 11 points apiece.
