Great Britain star Dan Bewley raced to 13 points as Wroclaw cruised into a seven-point lead at the PGE Ekstraliga summit with a 51-39 win away to third-placed Czestochowa on Sunday.

Bewley dropped just two points over his five outings, while 2021 Speedway GP world champion Artem Laguta added 12 paid 13 and Polish star Maciej Janowski tallied 10 paid 12. Triple world champion Tai Woffinden collected five paid eight points, with SGP2 rider Bartlomiej Kowalski scoring six.

Danish ace Leon Madsen was the home side’s top scorer on 12, with Maksym Drabik notching nine paid 10 and Speedway GP star Mikkel Michelsen and Kacper Woryna both bagging six paid seven.

In the day’s other meeting, Speedway GP first reserve Andzejs Lebedevs and Jason Doyle both piled up the points for basement club Krosno, but they could not save them from a 51-38 loss at sixth-placed Grudziadz.

Latvian racer Lebedevs racked up 13 paid 14, with Doyle bagging 12 paid 13 points and Czech rider Vaclav Milik scoring eight paid nine.

But Vadim Tarasenko led Grudziadz to victory on 10 paid 12 points, while Denmark’s Frederik Jakobsen tallied a straight 10, triple world champion Nicki Pedersen notched nine and Gleb Chugunov added eight paid 11. Triple Aussie champion Max Fricke scored four paid five.
