Major events are set to resume at Warsaw’s iconic PGE Narodowy next month as the capital city gets ready for the PZM FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Warsaw on Saturday, May 13.

Events at the stadium were temporarily suspended as a precaution after a defect was discovered with the retractable roof’s steel rope structure.

But with action taken to secure and relieve the affected element, Poland’s national football team is set to face off with Albania at PGE Narodowy on March 27 after extensive tests confirmed the structure is completely safe to stage full-stadium events.

The news clears the way for the world’s top riders to battle it out in Poland’s biggest speedway event on May 13, with triple world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, Maciej Janowski and Patryk Dudek all bidding to become the first home winner of the PZM FIM Warsaw Speedway GP.

The likes of 2022 winner Max Fricke, double Warsaw victor Tai Woffinden, world No.2 Leon Madsen and world No.4 Fredrik Lindgren will also be vying to top the podium on one of the sport’s biggest nights.

Tickets for the Warsaw showdown are still available online. Book now via: www.KupBilet.pl as well as https://www.ebilet.pl/sport/sporty-motorowe/speedway-grand-prix.
