Great Britain racer Robert Lambert confirmed that he will be staying at Torun until at least 2025 after signing a fresh two-year deal at the Motoarena.

The 2021 FIM Speedway of Nations world champion has spent the past three seasons at the club and played a key role in their charge to PGE Ekstraliga bronze this season.

He will be back in the city which hosts the season-closing FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Torun on September 28, 2024, as he bids to improve on a solid sixth place in this season’s SGP World Championship.

Posting on Facebook, Lambert said: “Excited to share that my journey with Klub Sportowy Toruń continues until 2025! Looking forward to the future. I'm fully dedicated to contributing to building a strong team. Grateful to continue being a part of the KS Toruń family. See you all in 2024 and 2025.”

Elsewhere, 2023 FIM SGP2 bronze medallist Bartlomiej Kowalski will remain with PGE Ekstraliga runners-up Wroclaw – also on a two-year contract.

With Kowalski no longer eligible to ride as a junior, one of the sport’s brightest young talents will step into Wroclaw’s under-24 spot in the top five.
