Anders Thomsen

Double Danish champion Anders Thomsen’s 2022 season was wrecked by injury and he missed the final four rounds with a broken leg, suffered at the FIM GP Challenge in Glasgow.

 

But he still made his mark with an unforgettable 3W FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Gorzow win on his PGE Ekstraliga home track, with Thomsen ripping off his kevlars to celebrate with a unique lap of honour.

Thomsen finished 11th in the 2021 Speedway GP series and his injuries left him 14th in 2022. But having received a permanent wild card from the SGP Commission, he will be determined to enjoy a clean bill of health and show his class over a full series in 2023.
