Biography

Double Danish champion Anders Thomsen made his full-time FIM Speedway Grand Prix debut in 2021 after being handed a permanent wild card.

He underlined his potential on the world stage by making his first Speedway GP final in Togliatti, finishing third, as well as reaching semi-finals in Prague, Lublin and Malilla.

Thomsen finished 11th in the 2021 Speedway GP series and received a wild card for 2022. With a useful year’s experience under his belt, he will be keen to take full advantage and impress in his second Speedway GP season.
