One of the world’s ultimate Speedway GP city breaks, Torun is a city that should be on every motorsport fan’s bucket list. With a huge range of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops, the city centre is a lively place to be on FIM Torun Speedway GP weekends as fans jet in from every corner of the world to enjoy this bustling university city. Away from the Motoarena, a look around the medieval old town is an absolute must. You can take a walking tour with a local guide. The banks of the Vistula River offer more great places to stroll, run or relax. As well as being known for its speedway, Torun is famous for its gingerbread and visitors can even try their hand at making it in The Living Museum of Gingerbread. Alternatively, visit the House of Nicolas Copernicus – a museum dedicated to the famous astronomer born in Torun.
