PRAGUE SET FOR SPEEDWAY GP & SGP2 DOUBLE IN 2023PRAGUE SET FOR SPEEDWAY GP & SGP2 DOUBLE IN 2023

Speedway GP and SGP2 both return to Prague’s Marketa Stadium on June 2 and 3, with tickets for an epic FIM Speedway double-header on sale this Tuesday at 20:23 CET.

The 29th FIM Speedway GP of Czech Republic – Prague takes place on Saturday, June 3, when the world’s top riders battle it out for FIM Speedway World Championship points.

And once again there will be double the FIM Speedway action in the Czech capital as the sport’s brightest under-21 stars go wheel to wheel in the FIM SGP2 of Czech Republic on Friday, June 2 – the perfect way to start a big speedway weekend.

The Marketa Stadium has hosted Speedway GP action every year since 1997 and staged two rounds in 2020 and 2021 – meaning it has played host to more SGP heats than any other venue in the world.

Slovak star Martin Vaculik was a popular winner of his local event in May this year and will bid to make it two Prague wins on the bounce. But former Marketa winners Bartosz Zmarzlik, Maciej Janowski, Freddie Lindgren, Tai Woffinden and Jason Doyle are among the riders also bidding to top the box.

Enjoy one of speedway’s ultimate European city breaks – tickets will be available via Ticketportal from Tuesday at 20:23 CET.

Christmas packages are available for those seeking to gift the speedway fan in their life a trip to Marketa Stadium in 2023.

VIP packages are also available, including top seats, refreshments and a book celebrating 25 years of SGP racing in Prague.

Check back on Tuesday for more details and to access the sale.
