Speedway fans have a new era of racing at their fingertips as Discovery Sports Events launches the FIM Speedway app, which can be downloaded for free now on iOS and Google Play.

As part of its 10-year vision to elevate the fan experience, Discovery has created one of the most comprehensive speedway apps ever produced – a must-have for supporters, whether they are enjoying the action at trackside or around the world.

Live results will be delivered during racing throughout every FIM Speedway event, featuring overall scores, heat-by-heat results and the FIM Speedway GP World Championship standings.

But fans can take their experience well beyond this traditional speedway data with enhanced telemetry. The app features live rider heartbeats as the pressure builds ahead of every race. There are also holeshot times – so fans can track who hits the 30-metre mark first and wins the most first corners.

The app will also give fans the perfect way to follow the Speedway GP stars throughout Qualifying Practice, with live lap times available during the session, plus see how many qualifying runs your favourite rider has remaining in their battle to secure first choice of starting positions for the Speedway GP.

The FIM Speedway app is also the ultimate guide to all the Speedway GP riders, with the option to compare two riders head-to-head using their SGP stats.
