ELITSERIEN | ZMARZLIK RACES TO LIONS MAX IN SWEDEN
Double world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik heads into the 3W FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Gorzow in red-hot form after reeling off a 15-point maximum for Lejonen in Sweden’s Bauhaus Elitserien on Tuesday night.

Zmarzlik goes for his third home Speedway GP victory at the Edward Jancarz Stadium this Saturday, and he lines up there on the back of five straight wins for the Lions as they thrashed Masarna 63-27 in Gislaved.

Zmarzlik was joined in registering a maximum by FIM GP Challenge qualifier Dominik Kubera, who collected 14 paid 15 points, while Swedish star Oliver Berntzon scored 11 paid 12. Patryk Dudek notched nine paid 10.

Polish rider Krzysztof Buczkowski was Masarna’s top scorer on seven paid eight points.

Elsewhere, Great Britain racer Dan Bewley tallied 12 paid 13 points for Smederna as they eased to a 53-37 triumph at home to Dackarna. He was joined in double figures by Kacper Woryna, who registered 13, while Speedway GP rider Robert Lambert added nine paid 11.

Danish racer Rasmus Jensen continued his fine form with a huge 17-point haul from seven rides for the Malilla men, with Maciej Janowski accruing seven paid eight points.

In the day’s other match, 3W FIM Gorzow Speedway GP wild card Szymon Wozniak racked up 13 points for Rospiggarna, but it was not enough to save them from a 46-44 loss at home to Vastervik.

Danish rider Mads Hansen topped the visitors’ scorechart on 10 paid 11, with Jaimon Lidsey scoring eight paid 10 and Speedway GP duo Freddie Lindgren and Pawel Przedpelski adding eight each.

Wozniak was backed up by an 11-point haul from Viktor Palovaara and 10 paid 11 from Finnish international Timo Lahti.
