Polish racer Bartosz Zmarzlik bagged 10 paid 11 points for Lejonen as they set up a Bauhaus Elitserien final showdown with Smederna.

The Lions won their semi-final, second leg 53-37 away to Dackarna to book their spot in the play-off final 102-78 on aggregate.

Just three days after securing his third FIM Speedway Grand Prix world title in Malilla, Zmarzlik dropped just one point from four outings as he made a triumphant return to the Skrotfrag Arena.

Polish Championship runner-up Dominik Kubera topped the Lejonen scorechart on 11 points, with Patryk Dudek notching nine and Oliver Berntzon bagging seven paid eight.

Danish racer Rasmus Jensen was the Malilla club’s top performer on 12, while Jacob Thorssell added eight paid nine and Maciej Janowski scored six paid seven.

In the other semi-final, Robert Lambert raced to 10 paid 12 points as Smederna stormed to a 47-43 victory away to Rospiggarna to complete a 102-78 aggregate win over the Hallstavik team.

In-form Polish star Kacper Woryna collected 13 paid 14 points for the Eskilstuna club, with Dan Bewley bagging eight paid nine and Michael Jepsen Jensen notching a straight nine.

FIM GP Challenge winner Kim Nilsson was Rospiggarna’s best performer on 10 points, with Slovenia’s Matej Zagar scoring nine, Finnish racer Timo Lahti adding six paid nine and Andzejs Lebedevs and Szymon Wozniak collecting seven paid seven each.

Lejonen host Smederna in the first leg of the play-off final next Tuesday, with the decider in Eskilstuna 24 hours later.
